About the Company:
My client is a Singapore-based advanced maritime and aerospace technology venture, developing next-generation high-speed transportation solutions that operate just above the water’s surface.
They are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Programme to lead the end-to-end delivery and integration of their Wing-in-Ground (WIG) craft development program. This role will own cross-functional leadership across Program Management, Supply Chain Management, Assembly Site & Partner Coordination, and Sales/Business Development. As a key member of our growing startup, the ideal candidate excels in navigating fast-paced, dynamic environments and combines strategic vision with hands-on execution.
1. Program Management
- Lead the integrated master schedule, ensuring alignment across engineering, supply chain, production, and business teams.
- Drive program milestones from concept to certification and delivery.
- Manage program risk, cost, quality, and timelines, escalating issues proactively with solutions.
- Serve as the primary point of coordination between internal stakeholders, and external partners.
- Serve as the single point of contact for new (contracted) customers ensuring that the WIG craft is delivered on time and on target based on contracted scope, and each craft goes into operations smoothly and efficiently.
2. Supply Chain Management
- Build and manage the full supply chain strategy for components and systems critical to WIG craft development.
- Negotiate supplier contracts and ensure vendor accountability to schedule, cost, and quality KPIs.
- Collaborate with engineering on make-buy decisions and design-for-manufacturing initiatives.
3. Assembly Site Operations & Partner Management
- Oversee the setup and scale-up of the main assembly site, including layout, resources, and workflows.
- Manage technical and operational interfaces with manufacturing partners (domestic and international).
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards during assembly and integration.
4. Sales & Business Development
- Lead the company’s sales and business development strategy, targeting early adopters, strategic customers, and government stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities, manage the sales pipeline, and close deals.
- Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and partnership discussions.
Key Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering or related field; Candidate with PMP would be preferred.
- 8–12 years of relevant experience in maritime sector.
- Proven track record in managing complex, multidisciplinary development programs.
- Strong understanding of supply chain and manufacturing operations.
- Experience working with startup or early-stage product companies a strong plus.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
