About the Company: We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Manager to join a leading manufacturing multinational. You will partner closely with the Group Finance Controller to lead HQ and regional/local finance teams, overseeing accounting, costing, consolidation, statutory and management reporting, audit, internal controls, tax, and treasury.
This role is central to setting finance policies, implementing best practices, enhancing internal controls, and delivering accurate management and operational reporting. You will work cross-functionally with Operations and other teams to support strategic and operational objectives.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Lead daily finance operations, ensuring accurate accounting, bookkeeping, and compliance with accounting standards
- Review submissions from subsidiaries, coordinate month-end and year-end closings, and prepare management reports
- Support group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations, eliminations, and goodwill impairment
- Oversee manufacturing costing processes and collate information from business units
- Ensure statutory compliance across accounting, audit, tax, legal, and company secretarial matters
- Support treasury management and tax-related matters
- Drive process and system improvements (ERP, BI, CRM, HRIS) and contribute to risk management initiatives
- Undertake ad-hoc projects as assigned
Key Requirements:
- Finance generalist with hands-on experience in consolidation, costing, bookkeeping, treasury, and tax
- Proven track record in group consolidation, including intercompany eliminations and goodwill impairment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing costing and ability to liaise with business units for data collation
- Solid knowledge of accounting standards, statutory compliance, and internal controls
- Experience in process improvement and business system implementation
- Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills
