Job Description

This is a newly created role for a growing AI-cloud start-up organization. This role is based in Singapore and reports to the CEO.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial System Establishment: Develop and maintain efficient financial systems for accurate data entry and financial reporting.
• Financial Reporting & Compliance: Oversee the preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards and manage month-end/year-end closing activities.
• Internal Financial Management: Manage cash flow, assets, liabilities, and ensure financial health through strong internal controls.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, providing analysis for strategic planning.
• Audit & Compliance Management: Coordinate with auditors to ensure audit processes are conducted effectively and in accordance with tax laws, financial regulations, and corporate governance standards.
• Cost Control & Expense Management: Monitor operational costs, implement control measures, and assess performance against budgets.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate with department heads and senior management to align financial strategies with business goals, providing guidance on growth, project evaluations, and capital investments.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration with professional certifications preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of finance experience especially in setting up financial systems.
• Familiarity with the AI, data center, or high-tech industries is highly desirable.
• Strong technical accounting skills and the ability to manage stakeholders effectively are essential
• Possess an entrepreneurial mindset and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
