Senior Data Scientist (Infrastructure)

About the Company:

Our client is an global infrastructure client with a strong presence in Singapore. As part of the company expansion plans for the Data team, they will be hiring for a Senior Data Scientist.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Acquire, mine and work with big structured and unstructured data across multiple platforms and systems
• Use advanced analytics, including machine learning and statistical modeling, to interpret data, identify significant relationships, and propose meaningful business strategies
• Enhance dataset integrity through systematic data cleansing and preparation processes
• Specify objectives and analytical boundaries for projects, delivering clear findings via modern data visualization platforms
• Investigate new methods to refine analytical models and maximize overall insights performance
• Work with senior management and C-suite to report business reports, and liaise closely with internal and engineering teams
• Collaborate closely with other departments to influence operational and strategic decision-making using empirical evidence

Key Requirements:

• Master’s or PhD Computer Science, Statistics or equivalent with at least 5 to 8 years in Data Science
• Strong working experience in Data Mining will be required
• Strong demonstrated experience in presenting to Senior or C-suite management
• Experience in Python, SQL and R with experience in Tableau, PowerBI or Qlikview
• Proven experience in your analytical abilities and a proactive approach to continuous learning and tackling challenges
• Additional certification in Project Management will be advantageous
