About the Company:
Our client is the largest network infrastructure provider in Asia. As part of the company’s expansion plan in the region, they are looking to hire for a Cybersecurity GRC Consultant to join the team on a 1 year contract convertible to a permanent role.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Led development and implementation of cybersecurity and infrastructure policies aligned with IMDA TCS, NIST, CSA CCoP, and ISO 27001 standards.
- Directed GRC programs including audits, risk assessments, compliance reporting, and remediation, collaborating with legal, regulatory, and business stakeholders.
- Proactively managed cybersecurity risks through hands-on vulnerability assessments, threat intelligence integration, and mitigation strategies enabling data-driven decisions.
- Supported Business Continuity (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) through business impact analysis, plan development, testing, and audit execution.
- Managed RFPs and vendor tenders for security solutions—from requirements definition and evaluation through successful implementation.
- Partnered with business and technology leaders to align cybersecurity strategy with organizational objectives, balancing security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor of Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in Cybersecurity, preferably in technology Governance, Risk and Compliance
- Experience in Incident Response, Identity Access Management, and Vulnerability Management
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Experience in Cybersecurity Originators, Network Infrastructure or Telecommunications industry will be preferred
