Our client is a global industrial technology leader with a strong presence in compressed air systems, industrial tools, and fluid management solutions. Their Power Tools business unit delivers high-performance pneumatic and cordless tools used across industries such as automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, and heavy industrial sectors.
About the Role
We are seeking a commercial leader to drive growth across Southeast Asia for the Power Tools business. This role will be responsible for shaping regional commercial strategy, expanding market presence, and leading high-performing sales teams to deliver sustainable revenue growth.
The successful candidate will combine strong industrial market experience with a deep understanding of Southeast Asia markets and distributor networks, alongside the leadership capability to manage cross-border teams and partnerships.
1. Regional Business Strategy & Growth

Develop and implement regional sales strategies aligned with broader APAC business objectives.

Identify new market opportunities and growth segments to accelerate revenue and increase market share.

Develop and manage a network of distributors and channel partners across Southeast Asia.

Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine commercial strategies.

Own the regional P&L, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization.
2. Sales Team Leadership & Capability Building

Lead, mentor, and scale a multicultural sales team across Southeast Asia markets.

Establish clear KPIs, conduct performance reviews, and drive a culture of accountability and performance.

Develop and nurture talent to build a strong pipeline of future commercial leaders.
3. Customer & Partner Engagement

Strengthen relationships with key customers, distributors, and regional partners to grow market share.

Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product, and Operations teams to deliver strong customer outcomes.

Represent the organization in industry engagements, customer meetings, and strategic negotiations.
4. Compliance & Governance
-
Ensure adherence to local regulations, trade policies, and corporate governance standards.

Manage risks related to market entry, commercial contracts, and operational execution.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).

10+ years of commercial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior management.

Proven success driving revenue growth within industrial or manufacturing markets.

Strong knowledge of Southeast Asia markets and distributor-led sales models.

Strategic mindset with strong capabilities in market analysis, negotiation, and P&L management.

Strong cross-cultural leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
