About the Company:
My client is a commercial vehicle manufacturer that specializes in designing, producing, and selling heavy-duty, medium-duty, and light-duty trucks primarily for logistics, construction, and long-haul transportation. Known for durability and fuel efficiency, the company combines engineering with advanced technologies such as telematics, automated driving assistance, and environmentally friendly powertrains. It currently serves global markets including Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for consolidating all order information to track lead time information and trucks in transition to end user.
- Change management due to agile changing environment and situations for sales and order planning, and provide warnings and advice to regions.
- Secure order planning activities in accordance to target delivery date through working level coordination via cross functional teams to production and regional S&OP personnel.
- Provide solutions for Hub APAC S&OP activities including delays, order swapping, cancellation etc. to mitigate and secure replacement slots to fulfil demand order.
- Create and develop a demand program for Hub APAC to optimize allocated program to achieve sales target and profitability.
- Chair the Demand Review Meeting for Hub APAC, consolidate sales summary report by region with respective order intake, order book, invoices and inventories at hub/ regional/ importer level.
- Act as the point of contact for Hub APAC to coordinate on truck logistics related matters and ensure effective information flow between factories, order planning, delivery and invoicing.
- Consolidate all Letters of Credit (LC) opening requests and organise the process according to UD protocol, including secure LC confirmation from trade finance and ensuring timely shipment.
- Consolidate monthly market share report and seek to analyse the trends in the market against orders place per market.
- Evaluate insights on information on commercial vehicle market trend across regions and segmentation to internal stakeholders to strategize and support Hub APAC sales targets.
- Analyse the volume, product mix and price per region/ market for estimations including market retail information.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics/ order to export processes, preferably in automotive industry.
- Understanding of Oceania and Asia import procedures.
- Existing experience and business acumen of Japanese truck brand in Oceania and Asia will be a major plus.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (including Sharepoint, Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel, Word etc.)
- Customer orientation, well-structured and organized.
- Team player, high integrity, conscientious, meticulous, and on time delivery of tasks.
- Ability to manage and drive a wide range of diverse issues.
- International experience and multi-cultural competence.
