Our client is a dynamic and rapidly expanding professional services firm, well-regarded for its expertise in risk assurance and advisory services. With a client portfolio spanning public-listed companies, multinational corporations, financial institutions, and government-related entities, the firm offers a unique platform for professionals seeking exposure to high-impact projects. As part of their continued growth, they are looking to hire an experienced and motivated Assistant Manager / Manager to join their team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Leading or supporting internal audit engagements and advisory projects, covering financial, operational, compliance, and technology-related areas.
- Coordinating project kick-off meetings, planning sessions, and stakeholder communications throughout the audit lifecycle.
- Identifying process gaps, internal control weaknesses, and business risks, and recommending practical solutions for improvement.
- Preparing clear, concise reports with actionable insights that add value to client operations.
- Leveraging data analytics and visualization tools to uncover trends, patterns, and process anomalies.
- Contributing to knowledge sharing and internal initiatives aimed at enhancing audit methodology and tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- At least 5 years of experience in internal or external audit, preferably gained from a public accounting firm or a consulting/advisory environment. Candidates with less experience may also be considered for more junior roles.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), or Chartered Accountant (CA) are preferred.
- Strong understanding of risk management, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
- Comfortable using or learning data analytics tools to support audit findings and recommendations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
