About the Company:
Our client is a Well-Established Multinational Corporation in the Financial Services and Insurance sector with a strong global footprint. As their business continues to grow across the region, they are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join their team as a Regional Production Underwriter.
Role & Responsibilities:

Drive both new business production and renewal retention while ensuring underwriting profitability and risk control.

Develop, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with a network of producers and brokers through effective marketing of the company’s insurance solutions.

Execute profitable risk selection, negotiate competitive pricing and terms, and apply creative underwriting strategies that meet both customer and company objectives.

Collaborate with account teams to deliver responsive, high-value service to brokers and clients.

Work closely with Account Managers to assess and review new and renewal business opportunities, ensuring sound risk evaluation and portfolio profitability.

Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and reinsurers to support insurance-related matters.

Achieve defined targets related to profit, production, and client retention in alignment with business objectives.

Conduct regular business development meetings to increase visibility and market reach.

Travel will be required for marketing, client engagement, and training—both regionally and internationally.

Conduct thorough risk pre-qualification assessments including analysis of broker submissions, financials, pricing needs, and historical loss performance.

Ensure all underwriting activities adhere strictly to company standards and compliance requirements, including capacity management, reinsurance negotiations, and commission structuring.
Key Requirements:

Proven experience in underwriting within the financial services or insurance sector.

Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.

Analytical and strategic mindset with a deep understanding of risk selection and portfolio management.

Comfortable with regional travel and proactive in engaging external stakeholders.

Results-oriented and committed to upholding underwriting integrity and business profitability.
