Job Summary: The HR Manager will support the business in all aspects of the HR cycle, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, performance management, insurance, onboarding, and termination processes. The role aims to meet business development needs, enhance organizational effectiveness, and elevate branding in Singapore and Malaysia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Talent Attraction and Recruitment: Close talent gaps and create strong employee engagement to ensure long-term business success.
- HR Strategy Development: Develop and communicate HR strategies, participate in business decision-making processes, and provide input on people and development philosophies.
- Stakeholder Partnership: Work closely with stakeholders to meet business requests promptly.
- Talent Development: Identify high-potential employees and recommend appropriate development programs and career movements based on needs and aspirations.
- Coaching and Mentoring: Act as a coach and mentor for managers, helping them develop their people management skills.
- HR Services Management: Ensure all HR services, including Employee Relations, Recruitment, and HR Administration, are provided at a consistently high level. Contribute to a positive employee climate and corporate culture while providing efficient and cost-effective HR support to Department Heads.
- Payroll and Benefits Administration: Work closely with external partners and internal rewards team on payroll, commission calculations, and insurance.
- HR Systems Management: Maintain employee information in the HR system
- Collaboration and Relationship Building: Work closely with P&D team members to create a collaborative working environment and maintain good relationships with stakeholders.
- Ad-hoc Tasks: Perform any other tasks assigned by the manager.
Requirements:
- Degree in HR Management or a related business discipline.
- Minimum of 8 years of HR experience in a multinational or large corporation/matrix environment with a demonstrated track record of consistent achievement.
- Strong knowledge of local labor laws in Singapore and Malaysia.
- Extensive experience and competence in Human Resources management.
- Fluent in English and proficient in Mandarin.
- Strong business acumen.
- Well-developed coaching skills.
- High integrity.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organization and planning skills.
- Strong analytical thinking.
