About the Role:
The Senior HR Manager, SEA will play a key role in shaping the people agenda across our Southeast Asia markets. Sitting at the heart of a fast-paced and highly creative environment, this role drives strategic and operational HR initiatives with a special focus on Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Total Rewards. You will partner closely with leaders, craft compelling people experiences, and ensure we attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition (TA)
- Lead full-cycle recruitment for SEA markets, covering media planning, digital, programmatic, creative, strategy, client servicing, and corporate roles.
- Build forward-looking talent pipelines, with a strong emphasis on digital, analytics, and emerging media skills.
- Partner with business leaders to understand team structures, talent gaps, and hiring priorities.
- Strengthen employer brand across SEA, leveraging social media, industry events, career fairs, and agency culture initiatives.
- Partner with external recruiters and manage preferred vendor performance.
- Monitor and report on TA metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, DEI indicators).
Talent Management & People Development
- Drive regional performance management cycles, ensuring consistency in goal-setting, feedback, and development pathways.
- Identify emerging talent and partner with leaders to implement succession plans for key roles across SEA.
- Design and deliver people development programmes—new manager bootcamps, capability building for planners/strategists, and leadership tracks.
- Facilitate talent reviews, engagement surveys, and follow-up action planning.
- Support culture-building initiatives, ensuring alignment with global values and enhancing cross-market collaboration.
Total Rewards (Compensation & Benefits)
- Support annual salary review, bonus cycles, and internal equity checks across markets.
- Conduct benchmarking with media/digital industry data to ensure pay competitiveness.
- Manage benefits programmes including medical, welfare, and flexible benefits; coordinate vendor relationships and renewals.
- Provide guidance to leaders on compensation decisions and policy interpretation.
- Ensure compliance with local labour regulations across SEA markets.
HR Business Partnering & Regional Operations
- Act as a trusted advisor to leadership teams across SEA.
- Support organisational design as teams evolve, merge, or expand based on client demands.
- Oversee HR operations across employee lifecycle: onboarding, mobility, contracts, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Partner with global/regional People & Culture teams to roll out global initiatives (DEI, L&D, engagement, wellbeing).
- Drive continuous improvement of HR processes and tools to enhance employee experience.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive HR experience in fast-paced creative environment.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, and Compensation & Benefits.
- Experience working across multiple Southeast Asian markets preferred.
- Proven stakeholder engagement and ability to partner with high-energy, creative, and commercial teams.
- Comfortable navigating matrix environments and influencing without authority.
- Strong analytical skills with experience using HR systems and data.
