About the Company:
My client is a commercial vehicle manufacturer that specializes in designing, producing, and selling heavy-duty, medium-duty, and light-duty trucks primarily for logistics, construction, and long-haul transportation. It currently serves global markets including Asia, Africa, and the Middle East. Role & Responsibilities:
- Partner the importers in the regions to develop networks, evaluate new dealers for appointment, and new facility upgrading with network expansion.
- Create forums for regional fraternity to participate and discuss on challenges in achieving business plan to seek for a sustainable action plan as resolution.
- Conduct special training programs to upgrade regional network development specialists to upgrade respective importer dealer facility, amenities, systems and tools.
- Develop and implement dealer operating standards across regions to ensure importers and dealers to work more efficiently with better operational control over the business and improve profitability.
- Introduce systems and ensure maintenance across the regions.
- Partner regions within Hub APAC to implement retail strategy activities
- Oversee and monitor regional Retail KPIs and analyse the gaps to brainstorm for corrective actions to improve performance.
- For new importer appointments, support regions for aftermarket readiness.
- Acts as main contact point with HQ to implement retail strategy activities across the regions.
- Responsible for ensuring awareness, compliance and continuous improvement across all regions within Hub APAC of retail operation standards and processes to achieve Company targets.
- Consolidating on Qualitative Requirement (QR) audits outcomes, follow-up actions and implementation based on results.
- Provide QR audit results and progress update to HQ.
- Ensure the regions implemented and supports the Road Support concept across all importers and retailers, including vehicle branding.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years’ experience in Aftermarket within automotive industry, preferably in multinational companies, and in Oceania and Asia.
- Customer orientated mind-set and partnership mind-set with importers
- Knowledge on dealer development/network development
- Good understanding of the truck/heavy vehicle business and good understanding of importer/dealer business.
- Entrepreneurial mind-set (lean, cost and time efficient, focused, creative, accountable)
- Ability to manage and drive a wide range of diverse issues.
- International experience and multi-cultural competence.
