About the Company: Our client, a renowned retail brand, has been experiencing exponential growth in recent years. Along with their growth, they are seeking a Merchandising Lead to oversee their SEA region. In this ciritical role, you will lead the full merchandising strategy for SEA—shaping regional assortments, driving commercial performance, and aligning product, planning, and cross-functional teams to deliver market-relevant ranges.
Key Responsibilities:

Own the end-to-end merchandising lifecycle for SEA, including buying, assortment planning, product development, and commercial performance.

Develop and implement regional assortment strategies aligned with consumer trends, market needs, and channel-specific requirements.

Lead merchandise financial planning, including sales, margins, inventory management, and markdown strategies to optimize performance.

Collaborate with product, retail, marketing, and supply chain teams to ensure seamless product execution and go-to-market alignment.

Mentor and manage regional merchandising and planning teams while presenting insights, strategies, and performance outcomes to senior leadership.
Key Requirements:

8–12+ years of merchandising experience with hands-on exposure to buying, planning, and product development in lifestyle, fashion, or accessory retail.

Demonstrated ability to manage regional or multi-market assortments with an understanding of local consumer preferences and market dynamics.

Strong commercial acumen, including knowledge of product lifecycle, margin management, costing, and inventory strategy.

Highly analytical, with expertise in sales data interpretation, forecasting, and planning tools to inform merchandising decisions.

Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and lead regional teams effectively.
