Lead, Data Platform (Education Sector)

The Client

Our client is an internationally renowned higher education institution in Singapore, playing a central role in our nation’s innovation, development, and continued progress. As part of a business transformation road map, they are currently looking to recruit a Data Platform Lead.

The Role

In this leadership position, you will be overseeing a team of data architect and engineers to transform the current data platform technologies into a more modern stack (cloud based to support analytics, AI and microservices). You will be the champion to the implementation of best practices across the data platform delivery lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science or information technology with at least 12 years of experience in technical leadership roles, with a strong emphasis on data platforms architecture, engineering, and technology management. You have strong working experience in end-to-end development of data lakes and data warehouses, and hands on experience with Azure Cloud.
