About the Company:
Our client is a Consumer Product conglomerate with a global presence. As part of the company’s expansion plan, they are hiring for an IT Specialist who has experience in IT Helpdesk and Network Administration to join the Malaysia office.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of IT operations, including user support, system administration and network administration to ensure reliable system performance and compliance with business quality standards.
- Provide IT helpdesk services for hardware and software issues to internal stakeholders and liaising with vendors to ensure smooth IT operations.
- Administer the company’s network infrastructure including servers, networks and storage systems to ensure stable connections between multiple offices.
- Define and control file-sharing permissions, upholding data security standards.
- Maintain IT security protocols, ensuring appropriate authorization and system integrity.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent with at least 8 years of IT Helpdesk and Network Administration experience.
- Skilled in network design, configuration, and maintenance, including command-line and automation scripting (UNIX, PowerShell).
- Solid understanding of MS Windows Server, UNIX, VMware.
- Experience in Cisco and Fortinet is preferred.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure is recommended.
- Strong IT security awareness and network governance knowledge.
- Proficiency in both Thai and Japanese will be highly preferred to communicate with colleagues in Thailand and Japan respectively but not a must-have requirement.
