About the Company: Our client, a premier global investment firm is seeking an Investment Operations Specialist. This critical role is designed for a professional who thrives in a dual-capacity environment—orchestrating complex trade settlements while maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity. You will be a key player in a lean, high-performing team responsible for cross-border financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Trade Lifecycle & Settlements: Manage the seamless settlement of global trades. Act as the primary liaison with brokers, custodians, and prime brokers to proactively resolve breaks.
- Treasury & Cash Management: Oversee daily liquidity positioning, perform stock/cash reconciliations, and manage multi-currency FX positioning.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate monthly management accounts, P&L statements, and balance sheets in compliance with SFRS/IFRS.
- Compliance & Audit: Support multi-jurisdictional tax filings and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with external auditors for year-end reviews.
- Process Optimization: Continuously enhance internal operational controls and documentation to drive efficiency and scalability.
Requirements
- Min. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Min. 5–8 years of experience in fund accounting, settlements, or investment operations within a global financial services firm.
- CA/CPA or equivalent professional qualification is highly advantageous.
- Strong command of the trade lifecycle and proficiency in accounting software. Advanced Excel skills (e.g., VBA, Power Query) are preferred.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment..
