About the Role: 

My client is seeking a seasoned and principled leader, whose role is more about mastery and stewardship. The core mission in the near term is to strengthen their foundations: optimizing their processes, unifying their talented team, and ensuring the flawless execution of their flagship project.

Your primary focus will be to provide the executive leadership required to deliver an iconic mixed-use development in a major metropolitan city in APAC, on time, on budget, and to a standard that will define our legacy for decades to come.

Job Responsibilities:

• Landmark Project Execution: Provide ultimate oversight for our iconic mixed-use project. Drive key decisions, manage internal and external stakeholders, and ensure the highest standards of quality, budget discipline, and timeline adherence are met.
• Team Leadership & Cohesion: Unify, mentor, and develop our real estate team. Foster a collaborative, accountable, and high-performance culture, ensuring we have the right structure and talent to support our long-term objectives.
• Process & Governance Excellence: Review, streamline, and implement robust internal processes. Instill a culture of financial discipline, rigorous governance, and proactive risk management across all functions.
• Portfolio Stewardship: Oversee the existing portfolio, identifying opportunities for operational optimization and value preservation rather than aggressive asset enhancement. Ensure our assets are managed to the highest standard.
• Strategic Oversight: While not focused on rapid growth, you will maintain a strategic view of the market, judiciously identifying unique, high-quality opportunities that align with our long-term, legacy-building vision.

Job Requirements:

• A Proven Steward: You have at least 15 years of real estate experience…
• Master of Execution: You have demonstrable, hands-on experience leading complex, large-scale development projects in the Asia-Pacific region, with a deep and recent track record in Singapore being essential. Experience in other key markets in APAC is advantageous.
• A Unifying Leader: You excel at building cohesive teams and mentoring talent. Your leadership style is steady, inspiring, and focused on creating a stable and productive environment.
• Commercially Astute: You possess strong commercial acumen with the ability to navigate complex negotiations, manage partnerships, and make sound business judgments. You are financially literate, able to interpret models and drive decisions that protect commercial interests.
• Principled & Meticulous: You are a highly organized, analytical, and structured thinker. You sweat the details and are driven by a deep commitment to quality and excellence.
• Cultural Fit: You share our belief in building a legacy and appreciate a culture that prioritizes long-term value and quality over short-term gains.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
