About the Company:
Our client is a global organisation providing advanced technology and digital solutions for the maritime sector. As part of their growth strategy, they are seeking an experienced Global Sales Manager to drive business development efforts within the maritime industry, focusing on cybersecurity systems that safeguard shipboard IT and OT networks.
- Role & Responsibilities:
Lead global sales initiatives for maritime cybersecurity solutions, ensuring alignment with international compliance standards such as IACS UR E26 and E27. - Identify, engage, and develop strategic partnerships with shipowners, operators, and maritime stakeholders.
- Deliver tailored solution proposals through a consultative sales approach, collaborating closely with technical teams to meet client requirements.
- Achieve revenue and business growth targets through proactive pipeline management and market development.
- Represent the company at international maritime events, conferences, and exhibitions to expand market visibility.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years of B2B sales experience within the maritime, technology, or cybersecurity sectors.
- Sound knowledge of IACS UR E26 and E27 regulations governing ship cyber resilience.
- Strong understanding of vessel operations, ship systems, and cybersecurity frameworks (IT/OT).
- Proven experience selling technical or cybersecurity solutions to the maritime industry.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills with a customer-centric mindset.
- Willingness to travel globally (approximately 30–50%) to engage clients and partners.
