General Counsel

The Company:

Our client is a sporting organization dedicated to providing sports and recreational facilities in Singapore.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and mitigating legal risks to protect our interests and rights in all dealings.
• Providing effective legal advice and support for major organisational/internal and construction projects.
• Preserving legal rights concerning collaborations, project agreements, and intellectual property rights.
• Reviewing and updating legal-related policy systems and procedures regularly, ensuring business units are compliant.
• Fostering collaboration and partnerships with business units.
• Facilitating and supervising the development of competencies and skills within the legal team (3 team members reporting in)

Requirements:

• Singapore bar qualified
• At least 15 years of private practice and in-house experience combined with strong commercial acumen.
• Experience in working within a government or regulatory organisation is a plus.
• Some litigation or disputes experience.
• Personal interest in sports!
