About the Company: Our client, a dynamic multinational MNC, is seeking to appoint a Finance Manager to lead its finance function and support strategic business decision-making. This presents an exciting opportunity to be part of a fast-paced environment where finance plays a pivotal role in driving operational excellence, supporting business growth, and partnering closely with key stakeholders across the organisation.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Ensure timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing
- Manage consolidation reporting to headquarters
- Provide variance analysis and actionable financial insight
- Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting cycles
- Track budget performance and identify risks and opportunities
- Partner with stakeholders to support decision-making through financial analysis
- Monitor cash flow and maintain optimal liquidity levels
- Oversee payment processes and manage banking relationships
- Drive working capital efficiency across AR and AP
- Ensure compliance with Singapore accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulatory bodies
- Manage audit processes and ensure timely completion
- Strengthen internal controls and governance frameworks
- Identify opportunities to improve processes and enhance efficiency
- Maintain proper documentation and approval workflows
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals
- Set performance goals and drive team effectiveness
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
- Professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CPA, CA) preferred
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including people management
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Singapore tax regulations (GST, WHT, corporate tax)
- Experience in audit, consolidation, and reporting to HQ is advantageous
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent communication and leadership capabilities
