Finance Associate

About the job

Our client is a private investment group based in Singapore with a key focus in sectors, such as Healthcare, Financial Services and Aerospace. They are currently looking for an enthusiastic self-motivated Finance Associate to institutionalise best practices for accounting and finance standards across the Group.

Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the opportunity offers you to engage with leadership on financial matters and provide insightful analysis to drive business performance. Liaising with industry-leading businesses across Asia, you will be given unique opportunities to build your experience and skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Secondment and Posting to Operating Companies (Vietnam or US)
• Lead and drive finance transformation workstream across our portfolio companies
• Manage and streamline day-to-day accounting of entities across multiple jurisdictions
• Monitor portfolio companies, maintain up-to-date financial results and perform periodic analysis
• Contribute to all stages of private investment transactions: origination, due diligence, structuring, execution and divestments

Key Requirements:

The successful candidate will ideally possess the following traits:

• 6 years of financial accounting/auditing work experience in audit or relevant financial institutions. Big Four experience preferred.
• Possesses knowledge and experience in M&A execution, private equity funds and/or investment will have an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Highly motivated and well organized, able to work independently and effectively. under pressure to meet strict deadlines
• Proactive mindset with an ability to thrive in a team.
