In Southeast Asia, they operate local sales units in Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Singapore, all coordinated through the regional office in Singapore.
Role Overview:
The Country Sales Manager will lead sales and distribution across Malaysia, driving revenue growth, market share, and profitability. This role involves strategic planning, operational sales management, team leadership, and cross-functional collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies for direct customers and distributors.
- Track sales performance, pipeline, and KPIs; implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage contracts, pricing, and profitability in compliance with company policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team; set objectives, monitor progress, and conduct performance reviews.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Engineering, Marketing, Operations, Finance, HR) to achieve business objectives.
- Maintain CRM data, monitor market trends, and identify growth opportunities.
- Contribute to regional budgeting, forecasting, and annual sales planning.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and compliance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 8 years of sales experience in manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or related sectors; aerospace or medical manufacturing experience a plus.
- Proven leadership and team management experience.
- Proficient in CRM, ERP, Power BI, and Office 365.
