About the Company:
My client is a mutual insurance company specializing in loss prevention and risk management solutions for commercial and industrial properties worldwide. As a Consulting Engineer, you will leverage your engineering expertise to identify and mitigate risks, helping businesses protect their assets and maintain operational resilience.
Backed by nearly 200 years of industry knowledge in the company, you’ll work closely with some of the world’s leading organizations, ensuring they understand potential hazards and take proactive steps to prevent losses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct on-site risk evaluations to identify hazards and vulnerabilities.
- Accurately assess exposures at industrial facilities.
- Evaluate the adequacy and functionality of protective equipment.
- Review and assess in-house loss prevention measures.
- Provide expert consultation to senior management on risk mitigation strategies and management of change.
- Travel extensively (approximately 30% – 40%) for site assessments and client consultations.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- 5 – 8 years of hands-on industrial and/or maintenance experience in the chemical or pharmaceutical industries.
- Experience in engineering project execution is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently.
- Strong technical acumen with a broad understanding of engineering principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
