Our client is an Online Booking Platform with a strong regional presence. They are looking to hire for a Chief Technology officer to scale their digital ecosystem, enhance security, and guide a high-performance tech organization to deliver exceptional travel experiences.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Technology Strategy & Digital Innovation

Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap aligned with company objectives.

Ensure scalability, security, and reliability of core platforms such as booking, payments, and customer systems.

Promote cloud-native, API-first, and AI-driven architecture practices.

Partner with leadership to prioritize and align technology investments with strategic business needs.
2. Engineering Leadership

Lead high-performing teams across software development, infrastructure, and cybersecurity.

Build a culture of engineering excellence, agility, and innovation.

Implement modern DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and scalable cloud infrastructure.

Advance the use of AI, automation, and data analytics to enhance user experience and efficiency.
3. Security, Risk & Compliance

Strengthen fraud prevention and payment system security.

Establish robust disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks.
-
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and governance best practices.
4. Cloud, Infrastructure & Data

Drive a multi-cloud strategy (e.g., GCP, Azure, Alibaba) to optimize cost and performance.

Integrate real-time monitoring and AI-powered anomaly detection tools.

Seamlessly connect travel, fintech, loyalty, and community platforms.

Enhance data management, governance, and AI-enabled decision-making capabilities.
5. Operational Excellence & Business Alignment

Optimize technology budgets, resource planning, and cost control.

Lead Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) teams to ensure uptime and service excellence.

Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Customer Experience teams to improve the end-to-end traveler journey.
Key Requirements:
-
15+ years of technology leadership experience, including 5+ years in a CTO, CIO, or VP Engineering role.

Proven track record scaling high-volume platforms in travel tech, fintech, e-commerce, or similar industries.

Expertise in cloud-native development, cybersecurity, and distributed systems architecture.

Hands-on experience in AI, automation, and data personalization.

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and IT governance frameworks.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Passion for building and mentoring high-performance technical teams.

Experience in large-scale travel, airline, fintech, or marketplace platforms will be preferred

Familiarity with AI/ML, blockchain, or emerging Web3 technologies will be recommended

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, AWS/GCP Solutions Architect, or ITIL will be good to have
