About the job
A growing and established freight forwarding business client company is identifying for sales professional to expand on its business’s capabilities and solutions with strong commercial focus on 4PL, contract logistics or project logistics.
They are identifying for a SG and MY Business Development Manager to join and implement core business strategies, increase sales and improve commercial processes across various business pillars of the company.
Responsibilities
- Able to hunt and close freight business across various industries such as Electronics, Automation, Semiconductor, Retail and FMCG, etc.
- Hold the strengths of developing strong network of customers both locally and regionally with the alignment of company’s capabilities and competencies.
- Aim and build business meetings and build new strategies to anchor core customer accounts across Singapore and Malaysia markets.
- Maintain strong relationships, improve overall profitability, and secure more business opportunities.
- Responsible to follow the customer qualification and on-boarding protocols, including credit.
- Have ongoing accessibility into business intelligence, market analysis and information across various customer accounts.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in commercial role with strong network of customers
- Hold cold calling and business building skillsets as you penetrate through your existing network of industrial customer contacts from relevant segments.
- Ability to hit regional A/R targets well.
- Good communication skills.
