About the job
Our client, a B2C technology enabler is currently expanding and they looking for a Business Development Director to drive end-to-end brand acquisition and market expansion, converting leads into retail and e-commerce partnerships while owning revenue growth and commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, evaluate, and onboard new brands, owning the full acquisition journey from initial pitch to GTM readiness across retail and online channels
- Build and manage a high-quality BD pipeline through proactive lead generation, CRM discipline, and data-driven funnel optimization
- Shape market entry and expansion strategies by analysing brand fit, category trends, competitive dynamics, and demand opportunities.
- Own commercial performance by developing strong business cases, managing P&L drivers, and partnering internal teams to deliver sustainable growth
Key Requirements:
- Approximately 10+ years of experience in business development, brand acquisition, or category management within fashion, beauty, or lifestyle sectors.
- Proven track record of successfully onboarding and scaling brands across both retail and e-commerce ecosystems.
- Strong commercial and sales acumen, with hands-on experience managing large pipelines, conversions, and high-growth markets.
- Excellent stakeholder management and storytelling skills, supported by solid CRM proficiency and deep market understanding
