Role Overview:
The B2C Sales Team Leader (High-Value Residential | Singapore) will own residential sales outcomes end-to-end, combining hands-on closing of high-value opportunities with the responsibility to build, train, and scale a distributed sales team. The role is accountable for converting strong inbound demand into predictable revenue through disciplined execution, funnel optimisation, and sales leadership.
This position sits at the intersection of direct selling, team leadership, conversion optimisation, and sales operations. You will be responsible for monthly targets, conversion rates, team performance, and the maturity of the overall B2C sales process. The core customer segment is Singapore landed homeowners, supported by a hybrid sales setup across Singapore and offshore.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Revenue Ownership & Direct Sales
- Own and deliver monthly B2C sales targets for high-ticket residential solutions
- Personally manage and close complex or strategic landed home opportunities
- Conduct consultative sales conversations covering:
- Financial savings and ROI
- Long-term value and energy resilience
- Design, aesthetics, and premium positioning
- Drive urgency, manage objections, and close deals in line with company standards
2. Sales Team Leadership & Scaling
- Build, onboard, and scale a high-performing distributed B2C sales team as lead volume grows
- Ensure sufficient sales capacity to handle inbound demand without leakage
- Define clear roles, targets, and performance expectations
- Drive strong engagement, motivation, and retention within the team
3. Sales Training & Capability Building
- Train the team on:
- Value-based and consultative selling
- Objection handling and closing techniques
- Positioning long-term value over price
- Run regular role plays, call reviews, and deal deep-dives
- Continuously improve individual and team-level conversion effectiveness
4. Funnel Management & Conversion Optimisation
- Own the full B2C funnel from lead handover to contract signing
- Track and improve conversion at each stage:
- Lead-to-contact
- Contact-to-proposal
- Proposal-to-close
- Analyse win/loss drivers and translate insights into sharper scripts, qualification, and processes
5. Sales Operations & Cadence
- Run structured sales rhythms including daily stand-ups, weekly pipeline reviews, and monthly performance sessions
- Present clear sales updates to leadership covering:
- Performance vs targets
- Funnel health
- Risks and opportunities
- Partner closely with marketing and operations to ensure smooth handovers and a strong end-to-end customer experience
Success Metrics:
- Monthly and quarterly sales target achievement
- Lead-to-close conversion rate improvement
- Sales pipeline health and predictability
- Team performance, engagement, and retention
- Speed and effectiveness of scaling sales capacity
- Quality and impact of funnel insights and continuous improvements
Job Requirements:
- 5–10+ years in B2C high-value sales, ideally within:
- Residential solar or energy solutions
- Home improvement or premium residential products
- Real estate advisory
- Premium insurance or trust-based financial products
- Proven track record closing high-ticket residential deals
- Experience leading and scaling inside or hybrid sales teams
- Direct exposure to selling to landed homeowners in Singapore
