AWS Cloud Engineer (EKS / Terraform / Consumer Research )

About the Company:
Our client is a consumer research and data analytics company specializing in market research, public opinion polling, and real-time consumer insights. The firm delivers high-quality data and analytics to help brands and agencies understand consumer behavior, track brand health, and optimize marketing strategies across Southeast Asia.
As part of the company’s expansion plans, they are hiring for a AWS Cloud Engineer with experience in EKS and Terraform.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Deploy, maintain and enhance the company’s AWS, Cloudflare and managed database providers like MongoDB Atlas
- Work with software engineers to automate, deploy and deliver critical systems
- Build and automate systems to optimize the reliability and scalability of cloud platforms and services.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent with experience in AWS EKS, EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, CloudFront, and CloudWatch
- Experience in writing and managing IaC using AWS CDK or Terraform
- Experience in developing high-availability, scalable and cost-optimized cloud platforms
- Experience in improving CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket Pipelines and GitHub Actions to streamline release processes
- Work experience in setting up alert systems using CloudWatch, Grafana or Prometheus preferred
- AWS Cloud practitioner or any other cloud certifications highly recommended
- Experience developing Python script (Boto3) or Bash script highly preferred
