Our client is a leading player in the maritime and logistics industry based in Singapore with operations spanning multiple countries globally. Well-regarded for its robust operations and forward-thinking business approach, the company continues to grow its international reach through innovation and high performance. As part of its ongoing expansion and transformation efforts, it is looking to appoint a Assistant Manager, Treasury to ensure business strategies and objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide governance and oversight of the Group’s treasury operations, ensuring shared service teams execute cash management and banking activities in line with internal policies and control standards.
- Oversee payment workflows, liquidity visibility, and foreign currency positioning to ensure funding adequacy and secure transaction execution across entities.
- Manage bank account administration, signatory updates, and ongoing regulatory and compliance requirements in coordination with internal stakeholders and banking partners.
- Support the transition and stabilisation of transactional activities within the shared service environment, while driving process improvements, standardisation, and automation.
- Partner with regional finance teams, auditors, and cross-functional stakeholders to support treasury governance, reporting, and broader financial initiatives at the Group level.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline, with 4 to 5 years of experience in treasury or a similar field.
- Strong understanding of global banking operations, cash flow forecasting, and foreign currency management.
- Proficiency in MS Excel; experience with Kyriba or other treasury systems is highly desirable.
