Applications Engineer (Global Swedish Precision Tools Manufacturer)

• Advise clients on manufacturing challenges and tool selection.

• Analyze problems, define solutions, and coordinate with engineering, project, and sales teams.

• Conduct tests, optimize processes, and ensure client objectives are met.

• Maintain stock levels and restock vending machines as needed.

• Present results, profitability, and product benefits to clients.

Technical Sales Support

• Assist account managers in product presentations and sales planning.

• Recommend technical solutions to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance quality.

• Record and share technical data in CRM and project management systems.

• Monitor market trends, competitor practices, and customer needs.

Product & Service Development

• Test and validate new products with partner clients.

• Provide feedback to engineering and ensure successful product implementation.

• Promote Seco services and optimize existing workstations.

Business Development

• Support distributors and resellers to grow sales and market share.

• Manage key accounts, pursue strategic leads, and drive solution-based sales.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Production or Mechanical Engineering.

• Minimum 4 years’ technical/sales experience, preferably with aerospace or oil & gas clients.

• Proficient in Office 365, ERP, CRM; experience with CAD/CAM software.
