As part of the company’s expansion plan in Asia, they are looking for an APAC Sales Manager who will be largely responsible to expand their presence in China and Taiwan.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for growing direct and indirect sales of mobile satellite communication services across Asia Pacific especially in China and Taiwan
- Focus on identifying, developing, and closing high-value opportunities for VSAT, L band, and LEO satellite
- Emphasis on new business and customer acquisition, especially in the maritime sector
- Achieve sales targets and produce monthly pipeline forecasts for Singapore and UK teams management
- Liaise with Singapore Sales, Service Implementation, Engineering and Technical Support teams to help with post-sales implementation and integration
Key Requirements:
- At least 8 to 15 years of proven Outbound Sales experience in one of the following:
- Satellite and communication devices in Maritime Industry
- Telco sales experience for land-based companies
- IT fleet/vessel management experience looking for a Sales role
- Ability to travel extensively in the Asia region, primarily in China and Taiwan
- Commercially-driven with a strong track record in a hunter position
- Technical expertise in VSAT, L-Band products and LEO satellite services will be highly preferred
- Experience in Maritime companies will be highly recommended
- Ability to communicate in Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients in China and Taiwan
