Account Manager (Global Industrial Solutions Leader)

My client is a global leader in industrial solutions, specialising in delivering high-performance compressed air systems and related technologies. With a strong focus on energy efficiency, reliability, and innovation, it supports a wide range of industries through engineered solutions, aftermarket services, and a commitment to operational excellence.

Position Overview

This role is based in Malacca and is responsible for driving profitable sales growth and boosting operating income by expanding sales outreach, developing new client relationships, and delivering comprehensive compressed air solutions across the South Malaysia region.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities, including outreach to cold leads via phone and email.

• Meet assigned sales targets within designated territories and industries by nurturing strong relationships with customers, including regular site visits.

• Lead contract and tender negotiations, including drafting and finalizing sales agreements.

• Develop sales reports and monthly forecasts, manage quotations, and maintain both existing and new client accounts.

• Deliver pre-sales technical support, including demonstrations, presentations, product training, and post-sales assistance.

• Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and marketing events.

• Collaborate with internal teams, including supply chain, sales support, project engineering, and order fulfillment, to ensure smooth execution.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with prior sales experience in industrial products.

• Possess a valid driver’s license with own vehicle.

• Strong command of English.
