The Client
A Singapore-based asset management company managing various funds and discretionary mandate accounts.
The Role
In this role, as the Finance Manager, you will oversee all company’s accounting books, prepare monthly reports, report to MAS, liaise with the company’s auditor and assist in providing a variety of accounting support to the funds’ activities, such as the preparation of the funds’ financial statements and more.
You will be the company’s main point of contact for its’ discretionary mandate activity and interact with clients, relationship managers, banks, brokers and other 3rd party service providers.
You will be in charge of reconciliation to banks’ statements and generating in house reports.
In addition, as the Compliance Manager, you will ensure the company functions in a legal and ethical manner while meeting its business goals through maintenance, reviews and implementation of compliance frameworks, guidelines, and policies relevant for the company.
The Candidate
– Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting or Finance.
– Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in an investment firm or audit firm.
– Experience with SFRS and IFRS.
