Regional Key Account Manager
About the job
Our client is a global freight forwarding industry client that specializes into logistics, project forwarding and cargo businesses.
With presence across Asia Pacific, they are identifying for an APAC Key Account Manager to join and implement core business strategies, increase sales and improve commercial processes across various business pillars of the company.
Responsibilities
· Be ensure service performance compliance and KPI meet and exceed customers’ expectations
· Work with company’s Global and Regional Account team to indirectly drive operational efficiencies in countries, develop strategic initiatives to achieve on-going account development goals
· Handle address operation issues, conduct root cause analysis with corrective/preventive actions.
· Roll out improvements and share best practices with global origins to ensure consistency of performance and overall improvement of KPIs.
· Conduct regular performance review with internal stakeholders and external customers to Identify opportunities, offer recommendations for process improvement and/or upsell services and products
· Leverage on technology, and engage with relevant stakeholders to develop automation in processes and implement process improvements to enhance overall work processes
Requirements
· Diploma holder or degree holder with relevant experience
· Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in international logistics, preferably with experience in country operations and managing global accounts.
· Hold strong interpersonal skills to thrive through mult-level stakeholders’ management with strong client servicing delivery.
· Able to communicate and build solutions for difficult or challenging customer situations or accounts.
