Finance Director (MNC B2B Manufacturing)

About the Company: We are excited to be engaged by a leading multinational company in the industrial and manufacturing sector to hire an experienced Finance Director in driving the group’s financial strategy, performance, and governance, with keen priority focus across the Asia region.

Reporting into the Group CFO, this role will lead the finance function, managing a team comprising of a Financial Controller and Finance Managers in ensuring strong financial health and operational efficiency across the business.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Partner with the Group CFO to develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and business planning processes.
• Lead financial analysis on costs, profitability, and operational performance to drive efficiency.
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations to ensure financial stability.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and corporate governance standards.
• Evaluate investment opportunities, capital projects, and cost optimisation initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes and systems, including digital transformation.
• Build relationships with banks, auditors, and key external stakeholders.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team across multiple regions.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
• Over 20 years of financial management experience, including at least 10 years in a leadership role within the manufacturing sector.
• Proven expertise in financial strategy, budgeting, cost control, and risk management.
• Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence decision-making at senior levels.
• Proficiency in financial systems, data analytics, and reporting tools to drive business insights.
• Regional experience across multiple markets, with exposure to China operations as an advantage.
