About the job
The Company:
Our client is a sporting organization dedicated to providing sports and recreational facilities in Singapore.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and mitigating legal risks to protect our interests and rights in all dealings.
- Providing effective legal advice and support for major organisational/internal and construction projects.
- Preserving legal rights concerning collaborations, project agreements, and intellectual property rights.
- Reviewing and updating legal-related policy systems and procedures regularly, ensuring business units are compliant.
- Fostering collaboration and partnerships with business units.
- Facilitating and supervising the development of competencies and skills within the legal team (3 team members reporting in)
Requirements:
- Singapore bar qualified
- At least 15 years of private practice and in-house experience combined with strong commercial acumen.
- Experience in working within a government or regulatory organisation is a plus.
- Some litigation or disputes experience.
- Personal interest in sports!
