Our client is an Established IT Solutions Corporation. They are seeking a Senior HR Specialist to join their growing business here in Singapore.
Overview:
As the Senior HR Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in managing HR operations while providing crucial support for the migration of our HR Information System (HRIS). Reporting to the Vice President of HR, you will collaborate closely with the HR team and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and successful implementation of the new HRIS system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including payroll processing, benefits administration, leave management, and employee data management, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Act as a primary point of contact for HR-related inquiries and provide guidance and support to HR team members and employees.
- Continuously evaluate and improve HR processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures to support organizational goals and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address employee relations issues and facilitate resolution.
- Provide support for the migration of the HRIS system, assisting with data mapping, validation, and testing activities.
- Work closely with the HRIS project team and external vendors to ensure successful implementation of the new system.
- Assist in the development of training materials and deliver training sessions for HR staff and end-users on the new HRIS system.
- Serve as a liaison between HR and IT teams to address system-related issues and coordinate troubleshooting efforts.
- Conduct post-migration support activities, including monitoring system performance and addressing user feedback and concerns.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 4 years of experience in HR operations, with a strong understanding of payroll processing, benefits administration, and employee data management.
- Experience supporting HRIS system migrations or implementations is highly desirable.
- Solid knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
