About Client
Our client is one of the leading Asian private equity investment firms that targets investments in consumer goods, technology, healthcare and financial services sectors.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Fund raising:
- For main funds, sector funds, project funds, continuation funds and coinvestments funds.
- Management/coordination of new LP development, existing LP meetings, road shows, due diligence process.
- Preparation and drafting of materials including marketing slides, investment memorandum, LPA, side letters, reports, and other relevant materials (both in English and Chinese).
- Legal documents negotiation and investor subscription process.
- Coordination with other teams, fund formation lawyers, fund administrator, accountants, and other service providers.
- Communication and management of LP relations
- Help originate and maintain LP relationships especially in Southeast Asia.
- Assist on regular fund and market updates with LPs.
- Involved in quarterly reports, capital calls, LP inquiries.
- Post-investment portfolio management.
- Organize LP events (AGMs, seminars etc.).
Key Requirements
- 3-5 years of ECM/IBD experience in investment banking, PE/VC, asset management, and placement agent at leading Chinese or international financial institutions
- Fluent in Mandarin and English, both spoken and written.
- Preferably with experience in placement agent or USD fund IR experience
